Rada Akbar is an Afghan activist and artist who uses her art to expose misogyny and oppression. Her work mostly features photographs and filmed performances. In 2021, she received several prestigious awards from European countries (Netherlands, Spain, Great Britain). She was welcomed in France following the capture of Kabul by the Taliban in August 2021.
