Know How, everyday recipes for public conversation
Know How is a series of practice-based research projects in which Lois Weaver seeks to develop egalitarian frameworks for dialogue in order to democratize and enhance cross-class and cross disciplinary communication. In this seminar/workshop, Weaver will present some of the elements of these projects and explore how these structures can playfully destabilize conventional forms of knowledge exchange and public engagement. This presentation will take a hybrid form that combines lecture, performance and participatory models of conversation developed from activist, theatrical, and domestic methods of action.
